Spotlight on George Evangelou   "My name is Milton George Evangelou Jr. (J.D.) My father (still carrying on in fine form) goes by Milton , so I have always gone by George. I am licensed to practice law in California (Bar #189217), but am partially retired and rarely do so. I do residential and commercial electrical repairs of all sorts, and own a machine shop where I manufacture (mostly plastic) parts for local businesses I was born in Virginia in 1952, so I'm 58 years old, and I have lived in San Diego County since infancy. My family bought our place on Palomar Mountain, known locally as 'doctor's pond,' in 1964, when I was 12.. For the last 46 years I have been a constant visitor. For several years in my late teens I lived on the mountain. I am currently co-chair of the Eucalyptus Hills Fire Safe Council, a member of the California Bar, and a small business owner. Hopefully some of my various experiences will be of benefit to the PMPO. I am impressed with the diversity and variety of experiences the members bring to the board. I hope that my knowledge and life experiences will allow me to make a contribution, and look forward to serving.
